Ciara West Equestrian offers a wide variety of boarding options from short term boarding to long term boarding. You can also choose from stalls and covered boarding or pasture stays if y0u prefer. Our facility is staffed by a boarding manager 24-7. We keep our own horses at CWE, we bring the same of level of care and service to all the horses we board.

Stalls

We have spacious and light-filled stalls in our lower barn.

Covered Arena

Our spacious covered arena features a natural footing that is maintained frequently to provide the safest and most comfortable ride possible.

Paddocks

Individual and some double and triple paddocks are available on both the west and east sides of the ranch. East side paddocks are larger and flatter with shelters of varying sizes. West side paddocks are usually smaller and may be on a slope.

Dressage Court

Our dressage arena is the standard 20 X 60 meters, bordered by rails and appropriately lettered. The footing is a custom mix of sand engineered to cushion hooves and retain water.

Round Pen

The round pen was rebuilt and expanded to 70 ft in diameter in 2017. The walls are paneled to protect horses. The round pen is the only place on the ranch where horses can be trained “free”, without a bridle or harness.

Feed

We feed only high-quality mountain meadow hay and alfalfa three times per day, which is much better for the horse’s digestion. Most horse facilities only feed twice per day. We also offer graining services for horses that need additional or supplemental nutrition.
